Hong Kong is located Eastern Asia, bordering the South China Sea and China. The climate is subtropical monsoon; cool and humid in winter, hot and rainy from spring through summer, warm and sunny in fall. The terrain is hilly to mountainous with steep slopes; lowlands in north.

Illicit drugs

This entry gives information on the five categories of illicit drugs - narcotics, stimulants, depressants (sedatives), hallucinogens, and cannabis. These categories include many drugs legally produced and prescribed by doctors as well as those illegally produced and sold outside of medical channels.
Illicit drugs : despite strenuous law enforcement efforts, faces difficult challenges in controlling transit of heroin and methamphetamine to regional and world markets; modern banking system provides conduit for money laundering; rising indigenous use of synthetic drugs, especially among young people
