Vietnam is located Southeastern Asia, bordering the Gulf of Thailand, Gulf of Tonkin, and South China Sea, alongside China, Laos, and Cambodia. The terrain is low, flat delta in south and north; central highlands; hilly, mountainous in far north and northwest.
